Pre-history: The first e-group of Odias/Odishans (in the US) is ornet which started in 1989 as a mailing list and then became a list at Columbia University, then a yahoo group, and is now a Google group at https://groups.google.com/g/ornet . This group did not have a special focus on Odisha development, but did discuss them. Since then there are many Odisha related e-groups around the world; but they don't necessarily focus on Odisha development.

History: This bulletin board is conceived as a generalization (and in some sense a continuation) of some individual blog activities related to Odisha development. Some of the initial individual blogs were:

0. This forum is for discussing ideas about Odisha development, posting developments that have been happening, championing specific development ideas, and in general working together towards Odisha's development.
