Kaninali is situated on the left bank of the River Dhamara in Bhadrak District and Talachua in Kendrapada District is on the Right bank of the river. 

... with a project cost of Rs.146.39 crore will accommodate Boats, Launches and other Vessels for easy and safe landing and berthing.

More than 1.00 Lakh people of 11 Gram Panchayats of Bhadrak & Kendrapara districts will be benefitted from this project. This connectivity project will reduce the travel time from 6 hours through road to 45 minutes by waterway.
